About me
Ardra Paige Zinkon, CLD, IALD is President and Director of Lighting Design at Zinkon Creative Studio, a certified WBE firm specializing in architectural lighting and technology design. Designing professionally since 1997, she is known for balancing technical precision with creative clarity. Ardra serves on the IALD Board of Directors and chairs the Professional Advancement Group. Within IES, she chairs the IoT Connected Lighting Committee and contributes to the Progress Report and Rules Committees. She earned her Certified Lighting Designer credential (CLD) in 2016 as one of the first designers worldwide to achieve the credential. A frequent national speaker and industry advocate, she moves comfortably between technology, science, and design-forward artistic expression. Outside the studio, she’s a competitive martial artist and third-degree black belt in taekwondo — bringing the same discipline and focus to design as she does to the mat.
