Digital Workflows have become increasingly central to architecture, interiors, and lighting design. Many firms struggle with fragmented standards, inconsistent training, and limited project-level support. This session introduces a practical framework for Digital Practice Management built around three interdependent pillars: Firm Standards, Staff Development, and Project Mentoring.

Participants will explore how intentional digital practice goes beyond software adoption to align people, tools, and processes. Our presentation outlines methods for assessing and improving BIM templates, family libraries, and project execution plans to create consistency and efficiency across multidisciplinary teams. It also demonstrates how structured staff development programs, supported by skill assessment and varied learning strategies, can reinforce standards while supporting long-term professional growth.

In addition, the session highlights the value of project mentoring as real-time, and hands-on guidance throughout the project lifecycle. By integrating mentoring into active projects, firms can improve model health, enhance coordination, and resolve challenges as they arise.

We’ll highlight the advantages of this process through real-world examples and actionable strategies. Attendees will leave with a clear roadmap for strengthening their digital practice, improving collaboration, and building resilient, scalable workflows that support both project delivery and team development.
